Multi Engine Rating Course
General Requirements:
Both ground and flight training are to be completed. Ground training includes aircraft systems, principles of flight for normal and single-engine, aerodynamics, and weight and balance. Flight training is made up of both normal and emergency multi-engine plane operations and maneuvers.
Prerequisites for this course:
FAA Airplane Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating, Complex Aircraft Endorsement, current Flight Review, and current Medical Certificate
Cost to Obtain
The total cost usually adds up to around $4,000-$6,000. Expenses included in this estimation are for the instructor, aircraft rental for training, books and materials, and the FAA examiner fee.
